Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Appeals Clerk to join our team at Managed Care Organization. This remote position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere while playing a critical role in processing appeals related to healthcare services. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process appeals related to healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate records of appeals and associated documentation.
- Communicate with members, providers, and internal teams regarding appeal status and requirements.
- Collaborate with the appeals team to ensure timely resolution of cases.
- Assist in preparing appeal-related reports and documentation.
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies regarding appeals processing.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and file management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
