Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various mechanical wet and dry HVAC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has 5 years of HVAC mechanical field experience and 2-4 years of hands-on project management experience working on Federal and/or Private jobs ranging from $500,000 - $12M.

Responsibilities

•Lead and manage all phases of mechanical HVAC projects from initiation to completion
•Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
•Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
•Monitor project progress and performance against established objectives, timelines, and budgets
•Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a proactive manner
•Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status and address concerns
•Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes
•Participate in project review meetings, lessons learned sessions, and post-project evaluations
•Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their professional growth and development
•Review and approve RFI's and submittals
•Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plan
•Ability to travel REQUIRED

Qualifications

•2-4 years of experience in MEP Project Management
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
•Proven experience in project management within the mechanical engineering or construction industry
•Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, HVAC, plumbing, and/or industrial processes
•Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure
•Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
