Position:

Chief Financial Officer (CFO/Controller) Location: Houston, Texas Salary:

Anticipated salary range of $200,000 to $240,000 + equity, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Benefits:

About the Company:

Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Houston, Texas. With a history of exceptional performance and poised for significant growth, the company is backed by private equity and is seeking an experienced CFO/Controller to join their executive leadership team.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the CEO, the Board, and the majority owner private equity firm, the CFO/Controller will be responsible for leading all accounting and finance activities. This dynamic role involves business planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and negotiations with lenders and service providers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with operations, executives, external parties, and the private equity firm to support the company's anticipated growth.

Key Responsibilities: Lead all operational accounting and process improvement initiatives. Provide leadership for the financial management team and oversee internal financial reporting. Serve on the senior leadership team and contribute to strategic financial planning. Coordinate with external CPA firms for tax filings and audits. Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and reporting to lenders. Provide extensive analysis to support Treasury functions and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements: Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing industry operations and financial management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred. CPA desirable but not required. 10+ years of accounting leadership experience, including prior success in private equity-backed companies. Experience with multi-bank financing and debt management. Proven managerial expertise with a hands-on approach. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to the Board and lenders. Experience managing significant inventory, including product costing and margin analysis.
