Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from ESP Legal Account Manager/Recruiter @ ESP Legal | Direct-hire, HR, Recruiting Position Summary The AI & Innovation Project Manager plays a key role in advancing the firms use of artificial intelligence across legal and operational functions. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position helps integrate AI into the firms service delivery model and daily operations. This role collaborates with the Executive Director, Firm Managing Partner, Practice Group Leaders, Department Heads, Managers, and IT to identify AI opportunities, lead training and rollout efforts, and support successful implementation. The Project Manager also serves as a strategic partner to the firms AI Committee, contributing to planning, coordination, and cross-departmental engagement. The ideal candidate brings legal-industry experience, practical knowledge of AI technologies, and strong communication and change-management skills to help professionals confidently adopt new tools. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage an AI implementation roadmap in partnership with firm leadership Identify, assess, and pilot AI solutions that enhance legal services, internal workflows, and operational efficiency Communicate effectively across all levels of the firm to build understanding and adoption of AI tools and strategies Create and deliver internal training on AI usage, including prompt engineering and risk?mitigation practices Provide hands?on support to departments integrating AI into daily work Serve as a core contributor to the firms AI Committee and support related innovation initiatives Track industry trends and brief leadership on developments, risks, and opportunities Assist with firmwide innovation projects and special initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director Preferred Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in legal innovation, operations, knowledge management, or legal technology within a law firm Direct experience evaluating or implementing legal tech or AI platforms Strong project leadership and change?management skills, with proven success training and coordinating diverse stakeholders Familiarity with legal practice workflows and internal support functions Demonstrated success introducing new technologies in professional environments Knowledge of platforms such as Lexis+AI, ChatGPT, Harvey, Casetext, or similar tools Project management or process?improvement certification preferred but not required Juris Doctor or experience working closely with attorneys preferred but not required Seniority level Mid?Senior level Employment type Full?time Job function Information Technology Industries Law Practice and Legal Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ESP Legal by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for Innovation Project Manager roles.
