Hourly Rate: The rate varies based on the assigned work site, typically ranging from $13.00 to $14.00 per hour.

Position Description

The janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the assigned facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, responding to specific cleaning requests.

Essential Job Functions:

The list below describes general duties and responsibilities but is not limited to:

  • Sweep or vacuum and / or wet mop hard surface floors and carpeted floors.
  • Remove dust from work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Clean walls and furniture, doors, tapestries, baseboards, etc.
  • Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls.
  • Stock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and kitchen.
  • Clean the entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Remove trash from containers and replace torn or dirty liners.
  • Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • Arrive at work at the scheduled time, perform services to established standards, and make sure the customer's premises are closed and secured when shift is over.
  • Respond positively and quickly to customer work instructions.
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures related to performing tasks, using products or supplies, and reporting incidents.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Must pass a pre-employment screening including Level-2 Background Check and drug test.
  • Adhere to grooming standards as outlined in SFM's Employee Handbook, including no visible tattoos and short nails.
  • Reliability and punctuality in attending work.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to work with chemicals, including bleach.

Descripcin de la Posicin

El conserje es responsable de limpiar y mantener las instalaciones asignadas para garantizar un ambiente limpio, seguro y ordenado. Este rol implica realizar tareas de limpieza rutinarias y responder a solicitudes de limpieza especficas.

Funciones Esenciales de la Posicin

La siguiente lista describe deberes y responsabilidades generales, pero no se limita a:
  • Barrer, aspirar y / o trapear.
  • Remover el polvo de las superficies de trabajo y otros muebles.
  • Limpiar paredes y muebles, puertas, tapices, zcalos, etc.
  • Limpiar baos, includos inodoros, urinarios, mamparas, lavabos, mostradores y espejos.
  • Reponer suministros en baos, salas de descanso y cocina.
  • Limpiar cristales / vidrios.
  • Retirar la basura de los contenedores y reemplazar los forros rotos o sucios.
  • Informar al supervisor sobre problemas de mantenimiento de edificios y / o equipos.
  • Llegar al trabajo a la hora requerida, realizar los servicios segn los estndares establecidos, y asegurarse de que las instalaciones estn cerradas al terminar su turno de trabajo.
  • Responder de manera positiva y rpida a las sugerencias e instrucciones dadas.
  • Cumplir con todas las polticas y procedimientos de seguridad relacionados con la realizacin de tareas, el uso de productos o suministros y la notificacin de incidentes.
Requisitos de la Posicin
  • Debe pasar un examen previo al empleo, que incluye una Verificacin de Antecedentes Nivel-2 y un examen de drogas.
  • Cumplir con los estndares de presentacin personal segn lo descrito en el Manual del Empleado de SFM, incluyendo no tener tatuajes visibles y uas cortas.
  • Fiabilidad y puntualidad en la asistencia al trabajo.
Requerimientos Fisicos:
  • Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante largos perodos de tiempo y levantar objetos pesados de hasta 30 libras.
  • Capacidad para trabajar con productos qumicos, incluida la leja/cloro.
