Job Description:
ClinDCast is looking for a InterSystems IRIS Engineer to join our client team of professionals. This is a 100% remote opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with InterSystems IRIS platform, demonstrating proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions built on this technology. As an InterSystems IRIS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our systems, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and deploy solutions leveraging InterSystems IRIS platform to meet business requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Architect robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with industry best practices and organizational standards.
4. Perform system configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
5. Implement security measures to safeguard data and systems integrity.
6. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
7. Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in InterSystems IRIS technology, and evaluate their applicability to the organization's needs.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
9. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements.
10. Document technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Extensive experience (5+ years) working with InterSystems IRIS platform, including development, deployment, and administration.
3. Proficiency in ObjectScript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
4. Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL optimization techniques.
5. Experience with system integration, including HL7, FHIR, RESTful APIs, etc.
6. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
