Basic Functions:

This position is responsible for ensuring part availability to our client to prevent downtime, missed vehicles, and offline repairs. Proper escalation and documentation of part shortages is expected. Once parts arrive it is the logistics specialist’s responsibility to assist in both physically and systemically transferring the parts to our internal customer.

Responsibilities:

Must

follow and support all safety policies and procedures. Must

follow and support company policies and procedures as per company

handbook. Must

monitor inventory daily through cycle counting and investigating all

discrepancies. Escalate

inventory discrepancies with both our internal and external customers to

include the assembly line, material processing center, and ARD leadership

team. Log

all part discrepancies on appropriate documentation. Resolve

all inventory discrepancies. Monitor

KPI’s to proactively address inventory issues. Required

to work both monthly and yearly physical inventories. Always

maintain a professional image with our client and other business partners.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must

be efficient in working with Warehouse Management Systems as well as

Excel. Experience in SAP is a plus. At

least two years’ experience in logistics field in an automotive

environment, desired. Good

verbal and written communications, customer service. Must

have ability to keep good records and documentation. All documentation

must be submitted in a timely manner and legible. Must

be dependable and self-motivated. Must

maintain good attendance record and job performance. Perform

other related duties and assignments as required.
