Job Title: Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget considerations.

Design Coordination:

Work closely with design and architectural teams to ensure that construction plans align with project requirements and specifications.

Procurement:

Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Construction Oversight:

Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is progressing according to the project schedule and quality standards.

Quality Control:

Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets established standards and specifications.

Budget Management:

Monitor project costs, track expenses, and make adjustments as necessary to stay within the allocated budget.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols on the construction site, promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, change orders, and progress reports.

Communication:

Facilitate communication between various project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and project managers.

Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, collaborating with teams to find effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Relevant experience in construction project management or engineering.

Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Knowledge of construction management software is a plus.
