The Work - How you will contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Bartender is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere to resident and guests while providing exceptional service ensuring their safety and satisfaction. All this while focusing on personal satisfaction and attention to detail.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or mixology is a plus.
  • Preferred 2 years of proven working experience as a bartender.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws, health, and safety regulations.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Greet residents and guests warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take orders from guests and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to guest specifications.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all food and beverage regulations and laws.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar equipment and tools.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and handle guest complaints professionally.
  • Collaborate with other bartenders and staff to ensure efficient bar operations.
  • Assist Servers in the dining room when needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Physical Demands: Position requires extensive walking, stooping/bending, balancing, and kneeling. Requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot, wet, or humid conditions(non-weather). Regularly works in cold and hot kitchen(non-weather), Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals and in outdoor weather conditions.
