CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for thisu00a0Speechu00a0Language Pathologistu00a0opportunity include, but are not limited to:
  1. Provides Speech Therapy services to patients under the appropriate guidelinesu00a0established by each client location or service provider.
  2. As requested by the client location or service provider, conducts screening of patientsu00a0in accordance with the policies of the client location or service provider to determine need foru00a0intervention/treatment.
  3. Evaluates patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.u00a0Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to clients, patients, family, and other teamu00a0members.
  4. Establishes patient schedules in conjunction with other team members.
  5. Develops treatment plans by identifying a needs list, including short and long-termu00a0goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
  6. Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family, and other team members. Implementsu00a0and conducts treatment outlined in treatment plan.
  7. Monitors patient's response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THEu00a0SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - SLP:
  1. Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  2. Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
  3. Current state licensure or license eligible
