Senior Project Manager

Purpose:

As a Senior Project Manager for a Joint Venture Initiative, you will drive the successful planning and development of a key application in the MRO and resource management domains.. This role demands a blend of technical prowess, commercial acumen, and robust project management skills to navigate complex contracts, integrate diverse systems, and drive market-making deals. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to deliver a venture that sets new benchmarks in innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration and Technical Leadership: Oversee the requirement definition, resourcing and development of an application management solution for multiple domains including resource management, procurement and MRO. Guide technical teams in achieving integration goals and application development efficiently.
• JV Project Leadership: Support the end-to-end management of the JV creation project, from initial planning and partner negotiations to integration and post-sales activities. Drive project milestones and deliverables with a keen eye on timelines, quality, and budget.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships with partners, customers, and internal teams. Ensure alignment and commitment to project goals and deliverables.
• Contract and Risk Management: Negotiate and manage complex contracts with partners and vendors. Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Market and Customer Insight: Utilize your understanding of the market to inform project decisions and strategies. Ensure the JV proposition is compelling, competitive, and customer-focused.
• Team Collaboration: Lead by example, promoting teamwork, and encouraging collaboration across project teams. Foster an environment of innovation and high performance.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Formal project management training and certification (e.g., PMP).

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in leading large-scale projects or programs, particularly in ERP domains, application development and integration or similar strategic initiatives.
• Strong technical background with experience in ServiceNow or similar platforms, and a deep understanding of integration challenges and solutions.
• Solid commercial acumen and experience in driving market-making deals, with a track record of successful pre/post-sales management.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills, capable of navigating complex relationships and negotiations.
• Risk management prowess, with the ability to foresee, mitigate, and manage risks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, leading teams towards common goals and objectives.
