Job Title: Pharmacist

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years extensive acute care clinical experience

License: Must have appropriate state licensure

Certifications: BLS (AHA)

Must-Have:
- COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) is required. Exemption forms are available.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture, and parenteral chemotherapy admixture preferred.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision within established policies.
- Capable of supervising the work of support personnel.
- Own transportation required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Job Description:

- Responsible for timely and accurate verification of all medication orders.
- Safely prepares medications and pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients and eligible employees.
- Researches, educates, and communicates drug information to healthcare providers and patients/families.
- Knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing processes/reports and adherence to departmental and hospital policies/procedures.
- Willingness to work during holiday periods such as Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekends following.
- Available every other weekend, with holidays required as needed.
