Position: Full-Time Receptionist

We are currently seeking a warm, organized, and reliable individual to join our team as a Receptionist.

Job Summary: As the first point of contact for our facility, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, capable of managing a variety of administrative tasks with a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors and staff in a courteous and professional manner, providing resident room numbers and directions to rooms or departments.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and resident information.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, copying, scanning and faxing.
  • Distributes paychecks.
  • Assist Human Resource Department with reference checks for applicants.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred, ideally in a healthcare or nursing facility setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Empathetic and resident-centered approach to interacting with residents and families.
Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time doing data entry and paperwork.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, as needed for the facility.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, climb, lift and carry heavy objects.
Schedule:
  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
