IntePros is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our client, the leading health insurance provider in the Greater Philadelphia market place. This role will have onsite requirements in Philadelphia, PA.

Position: Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Accountability: Ensure the overall delivery of integrated and technically sound solutions for assigned programs/projects.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership for ISD technical deliverables, overseeing accuracy in project schedule and status reporting to Program/Project Managers.
  • Resource Management: Manage technical resource budgets, analyze resource burn rates, and justify expenditures. Escalate issues as necessary.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs for projects of medium to high complexity and budget.
  • Primary Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for technical project components, communicating with Program/Project Managers and ISD Management.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve technical issues, serving as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality technical deliverables, presenting a cohesive view of project components and maintaining SDLC artifacts.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, service performance, and issues with stakeholders, providing consultative services to technical organizations outside of ISD.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop technical work estimates, assemble project plans, assign tasks, monitor work efforts, and track milestones. Adjust plans/resources as needed.
  • Risk Management: Implement actions and workarounds to mitigate project risks, minimizing their impact on project objectives.
Technical Project Manager Qualifications:
  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification: Progress towards or completion of Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent project management curriculum.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience, including knowledge of portfolio management and project management methodologies.
  • Technical Skills: Intensive knowledge in IT systems, databases, and the MS365 Suite. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and best practices.
