Job Description

This is a full time General Maintenance Mechanic position working at Northwest Medical Center.

Responsible for a variety of maintenance, repair and construction duties of a micro facility. Also responsible for facility security duties. This mechanic will perform a variety of general maintenance and repairs in all hospital buildings. This mechanic will be the first responder for all Plant Operations calls during the shift. This mechanic will use their knowledge of buildings and trades to maintain the campus after hours. Tasks will include plumbing, HVAC, medical gases, electrical, fire alarm systems, nurse call, TV systems and more. This mechanic will use the work order system to create and close work orders. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Work hours are Sunday - Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies dictate. This position would also be part of the rotating on-call roster.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Experience: Required: Two (2) years building maintenance of structures.

Licenses/Certifications: Required: Valid Arizona Driver's License
