DescriptionEastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for Youth Program Director at The Titan Sports & Performance Center. The Youth Program Director organizes and supervises youth development programs and manages the Youth Development staff. The Youth Program Director reports directly to the General Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Managerial TasksMake decisions regarding Youth Programs (Pre-K, Primary & Middle School level programming) Evaluate and supervise Youth Programs staffHold periodic Youth Programs staff meetings to review procedures, policies, department changes, etc.Handle all issues and injuries in youth programs; complete and submit proper documentationTrain new staff on policies and proceduresEnsure staff is following and maintaining proper policies & proceduresPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by the Assistant GM/General Manager Youth Development ProgramsOrganize youth programs and classesPre-K (Lil's, early morning classes, etc.)Turf Field & Court programming Primary School Middle School Organize and update rosters and binders Create and maintain curriculums for classesCollect payments for youth programs prior to start of programEvaluate and make changes to improve each programProvide quality guest service for youth programs and guestsSchedule, organize, staff and direct youth programsHold monthly staff /team building meetingsCommunicate with parents and staff regarding upcoming events and programsMaintain Youth Programs budget Hit programming budget goals Increase revenues year over yearGeneralOrder supplies and equipment when necessary and within budgeting requirementsMake decisions regarding Youth ProgramsCreate and maintain new youth programs Reach out to potential vendors for new programsCreate invoices for vendor programsAttend marketing eventsReach out to local organizations such as daycares and churches to expand class offerings SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and supervise a total of 10-30 employees in various youth programsResponsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of youth sports classes.Carry out managerial and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the FFH's policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws or guidelines.Interview, hire, and train new employees; evaluate performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.Maintain appropriate records for tracking coaching time for the incentive program.Reconcile and award for retention in a timely manner. RequirementsEducation and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in English.Mathematical Skills: Ability to interpret and compare data (historical, current, and forecasted) and prepare trend analysis. Ability to calculate time worked given start and stop times.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have working knowledge of Google Workspace (docs, sheets, slides, etc.) as well as Accounting and Payroll Software (i.e., QuickBooks).Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
