We are looking for an Army Liaison Officer (LNO) to join our growing team The location of this position in Kuwait supporting PD Aerostats.

The Army Liaison Officer (LNO) will serve as the primary point of contact between Army units and the Central Camera Repair Facility (CCRF), specifically focusing on the WESCAM MX-series Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Laser Range Finder payloads. The LNO will facilitate communication, coordinate repair and maintenance activities, and provide expert advice on the operational use and technical aspects of the MX-series payloads to enhance mission capabilities.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Army and CCRF, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and capabilities related to the WESCAM MX-series payloads.
  • Coordinate the submission of repair and maintenance requests, track the progress, and communicate updates to relevant Army units.
  • Provide technical expertise on the operational use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the MX-series payloads, facilitating the enhancement of mission efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in briefings and meetings, presenting reports on repair status, challenges, and recommendations for improving payload performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with CCRF technicians and engineers to identify, develop, and implement solutions for payload enhancements and modifications to meet evolving mission requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for Army personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and capabilities of the MX-series payloads, promoting optimal operational performance.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements in EO/IR systems and laser range-finding equipment, ensuring the Army benefits from the latest innovations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Military Science, or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, with a focus on surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of WESCAM MX-series EO/IR Laser Range Finder payloads and their application in military operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical personnel and military units.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active security clearance at the appropriate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as an LNO or in a similar role supporting military technology and equipment.
  • Advanced training or certification related to EO/IR systems, laser technology, or camera repair.
  • Experience in conducting training and development sessions for military personnel.
