You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our sourcing activities align with our strategic goals and contribute to our overall success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our procurement process and contribute to cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:Identify potential suppliers through market research and industry analysis.Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, and reputation.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.Analyze spend by supplier and recommend cost-saving opportunities.Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support sourcing decisions.Track and report on cost savings achieved through sourcing activities.Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and contracts.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies.Provide insights and recommendations to inform procurement decisions.Facilitates and arranges supplier visits, whether in-person at our location or remotely via teleconference.Function as point of contact for critical escalations.May also encompass procurement-related activities.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management1+ years of experience in supplier negotiation, including negotiating contractual terms and conditionsAbility to travel 15-25% of the timeStrong negotiation and communication skillsDetail oriented, with exceptional organizational skillsDemonstrated leadership skills and abilitiesDemonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in timely mannerMust possess effective written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environmentExperience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word12 Expected Behaviors of Actively Engaged Person 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and Agile.Benefits: In addition to excellent starting wages, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as numerous perks.10 Paid HolidaysResponsible Time Off (RTO)401(k) with company matchBereavement Leave, Jury Duty, Military Leave and FMLALife Insurance, STD, LTD, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and Dependent Care AccountTuition ReimbursementEqual Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.#J-18808-Ljbffr
