WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

This position requires someone with entry level project management experience or an engineer with 5-10 years consulting experience, looking to break into a project management role. Reporting to the Cincinnati Manager of Projects, the successful candidate will build strong collaborative relationships, have strong project management skills, be well spoken and personable, and be a strong advocate for and leader of the Jedson engineering team.
  • Support all aspects of projects from inception through execution.
  • Coordinate scope of work development with senior project managers.
  • Support the development of and track project costs in Jedson systems.
  • Schedule project timelines and forecast needed resources to execute the services.
  • Identify and communicate changes to SOW or Scope of Services.
  • Identify and effectively respond to project issues and needs.
  • Ensure client policies and procedures are communicated and followed by the Jedson and project teams.
  • Review and coordinate project deliverables.
  • Ensure PO's are received from the client before work begins and oversee use of the approved budget; also ensure invoices are paid timely
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering or construction
  • Project Management experience on engineering or related construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering projects within budget through a successful and timely conclusion
  • Coordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, monitor progress and quality of the projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster positive client relationships
  • Perform activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of operations
  • Experience in consulting engineering, power, and/or heavy industrial industry
