The role involves collaborating with an IT security team to assess, design, deploy, and uphold cutting-edge security solutions and policies for the organization.

Responsibilities:
Overseeing security protocols, evaluating network integrity, managing intrusion detection systems, and ensuring compliance with IT security standards
Serve as a knowledgeable leader within the IT domain, offering expertise across multiple security disciplines and risk management.
Leading security review sessions, devising strategic security plans, evaluating security tools, and ensuring adherence to IT security procedures.
Staying abreast of security trends, advising on security matters in IT projects, and liaising with vendors.

The ideal candidate:
Should possess extensive experience in IT security, particularly in areas like threat management, data protection, and incident response.
Proficiency in cloud security and relevant certifications are preferred.
Essential skills include the ability to interpret security requirements, exhibit leadership qualities, and communicate effectively.
A bachelor's or master's degree, along with industry certifications such as CISSP or SSCP, are desirable qualifications.
