We are RodeoRodeo Dental & Orthodontics is one of the fastest growing, multi-specialty dental groups in the country.The company's team of 100+ award-winning doctors provide a full range of general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and board-certified pediatric dental services Rodeo locations throughout the United States.QUALIFICATIONS:At least 1 years of dental assisting (EDDA) experienceMust have experience in multi surface filling and denturesActive CPR and AED trainingCurrent certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide preferredMaintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control trainingDental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpfulSealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS Certifications are all a huge plusBilingual (Spanish) is preferredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist the doctor in restorative procedures, composite fillings, crown and bridge, dentures, taking impressions, taking FMX, charting sterilization, placing rubber dam, pouring up models, root canals, and extractionsFocusing on Patient Safety and Team Safety as priority oneAdhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols, and disposing of sharps and clinical waste in a prompt and safe mannerMaintaining digital patient artifacts such as health history, insurance eligibility, treatment plans, pre-authorizations, lab requests, procedures, and appointment detailsEducating patients and parents on the benefits of good oral healthMonitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the entire visitPreparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned proceduresEnsuring that exam rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, organized, and stocked according to the required standards at the beginning and end of each patient interactionCharting existing treatment for new patients by updating the patient chart with entries for fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.Reviewing the patient chart and health history prior to the doctor arrival and reconfirming the patient's chief concernTaking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chartHelping the Rodeo Team clean surfaces, sinks, floors and common areas of exam rooms, operatories, reception, break rooms, restrooms, etc.Performs all other duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged sitting and standing as neededAbility to lift up to 15 lbs.BENEFITS:New Grads, start your careers with RodeoGrowth and advancement opportunities in our specialty dentistry business lines, such as orthodontics and oral surgery, as well as inleadership rolesPTOCompany-paid Life InsuranceMedicalDentalVisionShort-term and Long-term DisabilityHealth Saving AccountSupplement Life Insurance for you or your dependents401(k)AccidentCritical IllnessIdentity ProtectionTeam Member Assistance ProgramEEO Statement:Rodeo Dental is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
