This CNA/Telemetry Tech role provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. While in this position you will continually monitor patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. As an CNA on our team, you will be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation, troubleshooting equipment problems and communicating needs to leader. Job Requirements: In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified CNA/Telemetry Tech candidates will need the following: Six months previous CNA experience, preferred Previous telemetry experience, preferred Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills HS/GED required Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, preferred Successful completion of ECG exam annually upon hire CNA State Registered in Colorado required Where You'll Work: Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St Francis Hospital - Interquest. St. Francis Hospital opened in 2008 to keep pace with the growing needs of the Colorado Springs' community on the north side of the city. St. Francis Hospital features 340-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit. It also serves as southern Colorado's home base for the Flight For Life Colorado air medical transport service.
