This organization is seeking a seasoned Director of Supply Chain to oversee our procurement, planning logistics, and inventory management processes. Position Overview: Experienced Director of Supply Chain with a minimum of 7 years of related work history to lead the end-to-end supply chain operations. This pivotal role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize our supply chain efficiency and ensure timely delivery of high-quality components for our aerospace projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in supply chain management within the aerospace or aviation industry. Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and industry standards. Lead the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of materials and components. Manage inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence. Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities. Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain performance and mitigate risks. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Extensive knowledge of aerospace supply chain processes, regulations, and industry best practices. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Experience with supply chain technologies and tools, such as ERP systems, MRP software, and data analytics platforms.
