**POS I TIO N S UMM A RY** :

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.

We are looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity for our contract development manufacturing organization (CDMO), BioTechnique in York, Pennsylvania. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. This position supports the Third Shift.

To be successful as a warehouse supervisor at BioTechnique, you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse

Supervise employees, coordinate logistical processes, ensure the quality of goods, and prepare relevant documentation

Monitor scheduled activities by shift with respect to orders, door assignment, dispatch of trucks, and contract carriers supporting production and various other departments on a daily basis

Manage employees, ensure shift coverage, and ensure proper training and execution for all staff

Assume a leadership role with authority for the development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of a comprehensive and effective inventory control program that complies with FDA regulations, ISO requirements, and other applicable regulatory bodies and standards as well as Corporate documents and requirements

Schedule, monitor and evaluate all personnel on a ongoing basis to assure efficiency and cost effectiveness

Manage warehouse activities including receiving, stowing, picking and fleet management

Manage distribution activities including preparing, packing, shipping intermediates and finished goods

Serve as support for Audits (Regulatory, internal, etc.)

Create and optimize current processes and to ensure safety, quality, and efficacy of product

Support the supervisor, Senior Logistics Manager and Facilities Director, in the monitoring and control labor and capital expenditures

Recommend manufacturing policies, procedures, and programs

Maintain the department exception system, document review, employee time management and performance review processing, employee training, budget control and daily scheduling

Primary contact with manufacturing

Support Senior Logistics Manager and the Facilities Director with the management of the Facility

Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock

Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment

Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse

Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads

Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees

Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations

Provide cGMP training and other regulatory safety training for employees

Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner

**Requirements**

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma required. Bachelors Degree preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and comfortable with using a computer

Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills

Strong experience leading facilities and warehouse staff, with a minimum of 5 years of experience

Preferred experience with forklift operation

Excellent attention to detail

Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments

Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator

Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors etc.)

Must have Valid Class C License and DMV record meeting company standard
