Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Procedure Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients for the Radiology Imaging Services Department including diagnostic and invasive/interventional exams and procedures. The position has significant communication requirements with practice offices. The job requires excellent communication skills to build collegial relationships with interventional radiologist physicians, patients, and staff. The position may also require assisting with other areas key to the continuity of patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate diploma (or equivalent) 1 year of scheduling experience (or related)
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
