Duties and Responsibilities

: Prepare accurate Federal and State tax returns for Corporations, Partnerships, Individuals, Trusts, and Personal Property Taxes Calculate, prepare, and communicate extensions and estimate tax payments for business entities and individual filers Perform tax research projects as assigned utilizing authoritative materials Maintain a strong understanding of tax laws Review work product produced by other tax preparers Assist clients with any problems that may arise with their taxes and estimating tax payments Complete, Communicate, and follow through on new entity filing and license applications Coordinate Cost Segregation Studies Assist with audits by various taxation authorities Prepare written correspondence to Federal and State agencies and communicate results to clients Other duties as assigned About the Candidate: You have strong technical accounting skills You have strong organizational and time management skills You have Microsoft Excel skills – above average – crucial to success You can demonstrate time management and multi-tasking abilities You can use technology effectively You have the ability to work with multiple functions and internal shared services within our organization You have a positive, team-oriented attitude / personality You have understanding of legal compliance You enjoy a result driven environment Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with individual and corporate tax returns CPA (Preferred) Strong experience with Excel
