Position Title: Manager Settlement Operations

Location: Morristown, NJ

SUMMARY: Interpret and administer internal and external procedures to ensure the equitable distribution of more than one billion dollars of interstate access revenues to rural telecommunications companies annually. Manage daily and monthly related activities of customer and NECA staff to ensure data reporting and processing is consistent with FCC regulations and NECA policies and procedures.

Maintain detailed knowledge of regulatory changes impacting NECAs industry role as administrator of the Interstate Access Revenue Pools as prescribed by Part 69 of the FCC Rules and as referenced in corresponding FCC Rules and Orders. Provide critical recommendations on system and process updates to ensure changing business needs are met effectively and efficiently. Conduct detailed data analysis of financial data each month to ensure results for each revenue pool and all pool members are accurate and complete. Analyze, identify, and propose resolutions for company specific issues, ensuring resolutions are consistent with internal and external pool procedures. Ensure equity for all revenue pool members and reflect an understanding of cashflow impacts to the impacted company. This is a supervisory position with one direct report.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

6-8 years in the following areas:

- Data Analysis

- Accounting and or Cost Analysis

- Telecommunications knowledge

5-7 years in the following areas:

- NECA Settlements

- Team Management

- Telephone accounting

- Customer Service

- Supervisory experience

- Procedure development

- Project management

EXPERIENCE:

- Cost Analysis

- Data Analysis/Management

- Budget Management

Desired: - System testing

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications or related field.
