JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in Alabama is seeking an additional BC/BE Electrophysiology trained Cardiologist to join 2 other hospital-employed EP Cardiologists. Highly competitive compensation package with productivity bonus and a comprehensive benefits packages including but not limited to medical insurance and retirement plan. $100,000 signing bonus package also included. Practice Highlights:Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 3pmOpportunity to join 2 established EP Cardiologists and 3 APP'sClinic located on Medical Center campus for easy access to servicesState-of-the-art Cath Lab with 3 reading roomsSupport for EP studies, ablations, pacers, CRT, and heart failure devicesLarge patient referral base from tri-state areaRobust medical Hospitalist program for assistance with admissions and general medical managementEstablished Cardiovascular Surgery and Radiology groups provide in-house support HOSPITAL:One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama serving over 600,000 within a 75-mile radius. Robust IM Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults. Interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs, 3 CTs, and PET Scanner. Pain Management and Physiatry services provided through outpatient clinics on Southeast Health campus. 22 OR suites with 2 Endovascular suites and open heart suitesLevel 2 trauma center with EM residency trained physiciansOne of only 3 comprehensive stroke centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for Neuroendovascular procedures32-bed medical ICUUAB Cancer Center affiliate ACGME Internal Medicine Residency and Transitional Year programs COMMUNITY: One of the Top 10 fastest growing cities in Alabama and is less than 100 miles from the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida.
