Requirements
  • US Citizenship AND a current SECRET security clearance eligibility with ability to obtain/maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • Minimum two-year degree and two or more years work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have completed FSO certification training through CDSE
  • Experience with or have worked as one or more of the following: Facility Security Officer, Assistant FSO, Gov't Security Specialist or Industrial Security Program Specialist
Desired Skills
  • Minimum 3 years Industrial Security Program / FSO experience
  • Experience with processing actions related to CAC cards and SCI nominations
  • Experience with DD254 process; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with SIMS, access control systems, intrusion detections systems, cameras, fingerprint systems, picture badge systems, etc.
Description
  • The AFSO will adhere to all requirements as stated in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (32 CFR Part 117, DoD 5220.22-M), SRC Policies and Security Standards, Practices and Procedures.
  • The AFSO shall assist the FSO with administering the SRC Security Program, to include physical security requirements such as safes, access controls, intrusion detection systems, cameras, incident response, reporting, and insider threat program requirements.
  • AFSO will assist the FSO with personnel security requirements utilizing DISS, NISS, SWFT, SIMS. AFSO will assist and perform personnel clearance actions related to initiating personnel clearances, visit requests, compile and process SCI nominations packages, conduct collateral security clearance indoctrination of personnel, access & picture badging, conducting initial and refresher briefings, fingerprinting, and data entry into applicable databases
