Responsibilities

We have an exciting career opportunity for an BE/BC Neonatologist to join our practice at WellStar Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Georgia.

  • Seeking a BE/BC Neonatologist with NICU/ NRP experience to provide coverage for our 18 bed MBU nursery and our growing 4-6 bed Level-II NICU
  • Full time position includes a scheduled rotation of 7 days on/7 days off with considerable flexibility in scheduling (providing a total of 15 - 24H covered shifts per month) and rotating holidays
  • Schedule includes rounding on both units during the day and call from home at night
  • Skilled NICU nursing staff attends all deliveries, MD called to attend only complex/very premature deliveries
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with bread-and-butter care of premature infants as well as neonatal procedures
  • No circumcisions

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Griffin features a remarkably intact old downtown district that is undergoing a streetscape beautification project. Shop and dine there amid historic buildings and wide, landscaped medians.
