Summary:

The Pharmacist is first and foremost is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/She will provide pharmaceutical care for all guests and team members in accordance with our mission statement: "Ultimate Service, Superior Performance, and Positive Impact"

Key Responsibilities:

  • When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
  • Maintain integrity of pharmacy operations within the legal framework provided by the State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Public Safety and other governmental agencies in conjunction with the policy and procedure guidelines set forth by Albertsons Companies
  • Assure completion and compliance of goals, tasks, standards, and other job related criteria assigned to the pharmacy
  • Maintain open communication with pharmacy staff to ensure continued growth, development, education and compliance with evolving pharmacy operations
  • Oversee every aspect of the pharmacy operation including dispensing, counseling, scheduling and supervision of technicians, participation in clinical programs including immunization administration, inventory management and control
  • Other duties as assigned by upper management
Key Requirements:
  • BS and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy with license in good standing
  • Preceptor by the State Board of Pharmacy
  • Excellent problem solving and management skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Pharmacy Retail experiences a plus
  • Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing and walking for 8-12 hour period
  • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
  • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
