The

Hospice Director

is responsible for developing the organizational hospice care model that is applied by the hospice clinical operations teams across the organization. This role also directly oversees the After-Hours support team. This role has a dotted line to the clinical operations resources that reside in the markets and should act as a key subject matter expert consulted by the markets on matters related to hospice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include

:

Identify opportunities for program development, service expansion, and enhancement of hospice care offerings to meet the needs of patients, families, and caregivers.

Collaborate with the education team to continuously identify and pursue ongoing education in the latest clinical research supporting innovative hospice delivery models.

Work with Chief Patient Care Services Officer and peers in Palliative, Pediatrics, and Home Health to identify how care can be best coordinated and transitioned across lines of business.

Work with the Market SVPs to translate care model into tactical improvements for day-to-day operations and continuous growth.

Direct oversight over after hours support team, with accountability for afterhours support outcomes and managing associated operational costs.

Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction scores, and quality metrics, implementing interventions to address areas for improvement and promote continuous quality improvement.

Develop and oversee execution of strategies to expand market share, increase revenue, and drive business growth across existing and future markets

Education/Experience

:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Social Work or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospice care management or related healthcare leadership role.

Strong understanding of hospice care regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and improve patient outcomes.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive performance improvement initiatives.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Pay Range

:

$140K - 160K annually
