Develop, implement, and evaluate the organizations' infection prevention program in accordance with accreditation and professional guidelines.Surveillance with annual surveillance plan based on the population served, services provided, and analysis of surveillance data.Develop, interpret and assist with implementation of infection prevention and control policies and protocols.Be familiar with infection prevention software and other technology. (NHSN, Sentri7)Consult and collaborate, as needed, with local, state and federal public health officials, and community health organizations. (DPH)Participate in an infection prevention and control professional organization/association. (APIC and/or GIPN).Attends seminars, webinars and other meetings to stay up to date on regulations.Work collectively with Facility Operations on construction/renovation projects.Provide reports and quality improvement activities in a useful format.
