Summary:

As assigned, Guest Services Associate (“GSA”)/ Lawn on D Ambassador is responsible providing excellent customer service to our clients and visitors under the guidance of the Guest Services Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The Guest Services Manager may designate various other activities. Customer Service

  • Greets and assists visitors and clients
  • Provides guests with directions to various facility and surrounding area locations
  • Responds to questions and requests from visitors, other MCCA departments, clients and subcontractors, and provides appropriate information/directions in a patient, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Answers a variety of questions regarding the current
  • Communicates via radio with MCCA Staff as needed for issues that may arise (communicates via cell phone, we don’t use radios)
  • Other duties as assigned


SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Supervision is provided by the Guest Services Manager and includes training, coaching, performance evaluation, and inspection of work.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. USE OF TECHNOLOGY: This position requires the use of iPadsAn individual must have the ability to navigate quickly through websites and applications on the device

EXPERIENCE: Some work experience which shall have involved assisting the public or a combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have the ability to handle stressful situations and be capable of standing for long periods of time. A well-organized individual who is a team player and can relate to people at all levels of an organization, possesses excellent communication skills, flexibility and is committed to the MCCA’s Mission.

WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule for this position typically fluctuates based upon the needs of a particular event or project, which would require the ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, early mornings, long days, weekends and holidays. Travel to other MCCA facilities may be required. Flexibility and last-minute availability preferred. Shift Times may be adjusted if changes are made to event hours. Any scheduling adjustments are communicated out as soon as possible.

DRESS CODE In order to project dignity and decorum expected by the public, appropriate dress and good grooming are expected of all employees. Provided uniform expected to be worn in appropriate manner and kept in good, clean condition.
