Mechanical Design Engineer

Design stainless steel food processing systems in Autodesk Inventor 3D.
Create sheet metal parts for fabrication on laser and press brake, tube and pipe components and weldments, and complete mechanical assemblies.
Engineering Layout Drawing (ELD) generation based on design parameters from the Project Engineer.
Create drawings of Inventor models and assemblies after ELD approval for release to manufacturing.
Production planning, including:
Mechanical release from engineering to manufacturing
Coordinate purchasing of special or custom materials
Plotting all drawings.
Qualifications
BSME or Associates degree in Drafting & Design
Experience with sheet metal and structural steel preferred.
Experience with SAP preferred.
