ABOUT THE JOB
A Materials Planner for Revology Cars focuses on ensuring raw materials and components are readily available to keep the flow of production running smoothly, creates and plans inventory schedules and manage relationships with suppliers.

We are the first company ever licensed by Ford Motor Company to build a new reproduction Ford automobile and are presently the only company in the world licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction 1960s Mustang.
We are the leading global manufacturer of licensed 1960s Shelby GT automobiles.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that raw materials and components are always readily available for production.
Creates and maintains an inventory schedule using build plan, customer demands and trends to make sure there are always enough products and manufacturing materials.
Manages relationships with suppliers, may be responsible for finding alternate sources when needed.
Responsible for planning, scheduling and expediting materials from vendors.
Monitor and optimize material inventory levels.
Participate in engineering change teams.
Monitor and optimize vendor deliveries.
Follow up on the compliance to the production schedules.
Update the ERP system.
Coordinate all on-site cycle counts.
Actively participate in Purchased Material Cost Reduction Program for both Raw Materials and Purchased Parts.
Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.
REQUIREMENTS
5 plus years of experience in Automotive Industry.
5 plus years of experience in Manufacturing.
Bachelor's degree required.
Problem solving techniques.
Experience with ERPs and MRPs.
Understand material handling strategies (JIT) and visual tools for replenishment of materials (KANBAN).
