JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for serving and satisfying our guests following the procedures outlined in the department training guide. Team members are also required to perform other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Serving food and beverages to guests following company policies and procedures.
2. Complete understanding of the menu and drink recipes to ensure excellent guest service.
3. Proper service of alcohol including requesting I.D. and intoxication procedures.
4. Proper use of the POS system and cash/tip handling.
5. Comprehension of the wine list and pairing with menu items.
6. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory listing.
7. Pouring drinks at proper levels and limiting waste and ensuring all beverages go on the guest check.
8. Keep alert to guests needs such as pre-bussing, refilling drinks, and attending to accidents.
9. Notifying the manager on duty of any guest dissatisfaction before the guest leaves the table.
10. Keep all dining room areas neat, cleaned, and stocked.
11. Follow proper procedures for take out including answering the takeout phone within three rings.
12. Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management using clean as you go techniques.
13. Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
14. Follow company attendance policy including arriving for work timely, calling off procedures, and acceptable attendance records.
15. Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
16. Follow all guest satisfaction procedures and Hospitality Imperatives.
17. Work well with others and assist fellow team members as needed.
