Interstate Power System's location in Lincoln Nebraska is looking for a Branch Manager who has experience in Fixed Operations, Parts Departments, Power Generation, and/or Heavy Duty Diesel industries. Branch Managers fulfill a critical role in our operations. They are the front line of presenting our products to the industry. They are responsible for developing networks and industry contacts, promoting our value-added products and services, keeping customer satisfaction a priority. Job Duties: Ensure all service and sales operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way. Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices. Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency. Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant. Formulate strategic and operational objectives. Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability. Manage budgets and forecasts. Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs. Recruit, train and supervise staff. Find ways to increase quality of customer service. Desired Skills/Qualities: Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills A self-starter who can observe the strengths present in a location and utilize those strengths to develop a positive business plan Experience with profit and loss statements, budgeting, and basic inventory control Proven background in service, sales, or business ownership Clear understanding profitability, customer service, sales, and marketing Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work with Service Team and Sales Team.
