What would my day look like?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist role will focus their energies on providing recruiting support to our clients. We specialize in working with CPA firms to find tax and audit talent as well as recruiting for their firm's clients. An ideal candidate has strong people skills, good judgement, can think outside of the box to source talent, and has ability to "sell" the opportunity to interested candidates. Preferably this role will work out of our Baraboo office with the rest of the WFS team, but we are open to high caliber, experienced recruiting talent working a hybrid or remote schedule if their experience level is appropriate for remote work. This role has excellent potential for growth and upward mobility within the Workforce Solutions affiliate. Tasks will includes:

  • Responsible for executing full cycle recruiting for WFS clients from development of candidate profile and job description through keeping new hire engaged through their start date.
  • Managing job postings on various websites leveraging social media, job boards, and digital ads to source active and passive candidates.
  • Actively sourcing passive candidates; finds creative solutions to attract and source talent.
  • Proactively building and managing a candidate pool for current and future job openings.
  • Working in WFS's applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage requisitions and applicants.
  • Creating and consistently reporting out on recruiting analytics.
  • Reviewing and screening applicants and resumes.
  • Scheduling and completing phone screens and interviews.
  • Occasionally attending job fairs and related events to source talent.
  • Proactively building network within communities, key schools and universities, local organizations, and professional groups to build WFS's brand and leverage connections to find talent.
  • Act as brand ambassador for WFS including cross selling additional WFS services to clients.
  • Providing superior customer service and support to WFS clients.
  • Handling all tasks with the utmost confidentiality and with an understanding of employment law and regulations.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
  • Experience in a talent acquisition and/or sourcing role.
  • Experience working within an ATS and with sourcing platforms.
  • Developed knowledge of employment law and regulations as they relate to hiring.
  • Ability to provide the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in role.
  • Comfortable working daily on the computer including in HCM and ATS software as well as Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with candidates and clients on the phone, via email, and in person.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field a plus.
  • Experience working in the isolved ATS, Attract & Hire a plus.
  • Experience sourcing or recruiting within the CPA firm and public accounting industry a huge plus.

What will my schedule look like?

Generally, you can flex the typical Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule around any personal passions or family time as long as business needs are being met.
