We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester (System Testing), to join our services team, to support one of our projects, focusing on system testing of our clients Wireless In-Flight Entertainment (W-IFE) system. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in system level testing, ensuring the seamless integration, verification, and validation of various complex features within our clients Products' W-IFE system. We are looking for someone who comes from a strong background testing Wifi and Bluetooth features i n telecommunications, avionics, or transportation industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration, Verification, and Validation:

Perform comprehensive testing of multiple intricate features of the W-IFE system, including but not limited to Audio Video on Demand, WiFi, PED integration, and Bluetooth Connectivity.

Documentation and Planning:

Contribute inputs to the Verification and Validation Plan document for various IFE System SW releases. Participate in milestone reviews such as Test Readiness Review and Acceptance Testing Readiness Review. Prepare test suites and plans for W-IFE features and develop Acceptance Test plan documents.

Configuration Management:

Configure the W-IFE system for the Verification and Validation Team, ensuring stable networking and communication between LRUs (Line Replaceable Units) and external systems.

Software Installation and Content Management:

Oversee the installation of W-IFE software on Head End LRUs, Seat End LRUs, and Crew Panels. Manage the loading of aircraft-specific media content into designated LRUs from multiple sources.

Fault Induction and Data Collection:

Introduce complex faults, errors, and events into the W-IFE system to collect Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) data. Gather usage events and personalization data in a lab environment, ensuring data volume matches real flight scenarios. Verify and validate BITE, Usage, and Personalization data in BITE and SkyPulse Cloud portal.

Risk Management:

Assist in identifying risks associated with system testing and program execution, and adhere to mitigation strategies.

Collaboration:

Ensure system and software consistency by collaborating with System Architects and Software Engineers.

Issue Resolution:

Address technical disputes and issues during Integration, Verification, and Validation activities for various releases.

Defect Tracking:

Report defects in the defect tracking tool JIRA. Monitor and review logged defects, tracking fixes for W-IFE software.

Requirements Analysis:

Analyze system requirements and establish bi-directional traceability to the Test Plan.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in Quality Assurance testing on web based applications
Good Networking knowledge of troubleshooting
Strong background in Wifi and Bluetooth testing
System testing experience with telecom, avionics or inflight entertainment systems
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
Strong writing and documentation skills
Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Both manual automation testing experience
