Job Description
Pay Range: Starting at $19.50 an hour
Role:
To build and maintain successful member relationships by efficiently funding and servicing indirect loans, while simultaneously ensuring that supporting documentation and records are accurately prepared according to GWCU policies and procedures. Meets or exceeds all funding goals with minimum errors and processes pending loans consistently within established time frames.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Applies comprehensive knowledge of consumer lending products, services, and processes by successfully and completely processing indirect loan applications, consumer loan funding, and loan maintenance. Offers applicable credit union services and products.
Makes outbound calls to verify accuracy of the information provided by the member and the dealer.
Assembles loan and title packets for submission to the lending support team within 5 business days of funding.
Compiles reporting for Lending Operations Manager to be submitted to Executive Team and Board of Directors.
Communicates effectively verbally and in writing to provide excellent service to our dealer partners. Follows up with dealers to resolve problems and/or respond to inquiries.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
Maintains no more than a 5% maximum error rating on total loans funded each month while consistently meeting deadlines, funding goals and efficiency requirements.
Provides informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all dealers by responding to email, answering telephone and replying to messages within one business day where applicable.
Meet or exceed the minimum established individual goals each month.
Cross trains and is able to assist the consumer loan processor to achieve department goals.
Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education:A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills:Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
Other Skills:10-key calculator, typewriter, and keyboard skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required. Fully knowledgeable of and able to communicate with members about credit bureau reports and credit histories, risk-based lending scores, invoice and wholesale values of collateral, lien perfections, loan and deposit rates, credit union policies and procedures, and loan decisions.
Work Environment:May occasionally require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours.
