Residential Director
Lincoln Street Inc. is a private non-profit providing high quality personalized services to people with intellectual disabilities and their families for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a Residential Director; this is a senior management position responsible for securing residential placements for the people we serve. Responsible for marketing the agency to assure continual growth of the program. They will also be responsible for case management services for those individuals who live in independent settings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruit, interview, vet, and train contractual providers to establish homes for individuals.
Assure positive relationships are formed between the contractor, individual and other team/family members.
Support, monitor and assure teams are moving in agreed upon direction, resolves conflicts and addresses barriers through professional leadership.
Monitor contractor residential setting to assure for regulation requirements and safety.
Secure apartment settings for those seeking independent living settings.
Provide leadership to mid managers and staff regarding all residential placements and regulations regarding placements.
Create opportunities and provide support to individuals in making decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.
Ensure compliance with program budgets through consistent monitoring of and various reports.
Build & maintain positive relationships with Local Housing Authority, community groups, families, and other service providers.
Maintains a flexible schedule including participating in after hour on-call rotation schedule.
Review Electronic Health Record reports, assuring that individual records are current and in keeping with State and Federal guidelines.
Provide coverage to individuals & transportation as needed.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of intellectual disabilities,
Skills required:
Demonstrate sound leadership skills for all teams
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships
Proficient computer skills; including Word, Excel, Outlook 365
Requirements:
Possess a valid drivers license & reliable insured vehicle
Ability to pass all background checks
