Come join a company that strives for Extraordinary People and Exceptional Performance Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is looking for a Software Test Engineer to support a Department of Education Project with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow support specifically in CMDB stand up, configuration, operational support, ITSM, VRM, and life-cycle maintenance. The Software Test Engineer , under supervision of the program manager, will perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, testing, documentation, and test implementations of application(s) that requiring knowledge of administrative and technical skills.

Responsibilities

Test designs and developed ServiceNow workflows and processes.

Test and assist in the development of IT Service Management solutions using ServiceNow.

Familiarity with technologies JavaScript, Jelly, web services including MYSQL, XML, HTML.

Collaborate with developers to assist developing applications on ServiceNow platform.

Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed.

Comply and test using ServiceNow best practices to maintain system Agency compliance.

Participate in User Access Testing (UAT) to collect feedback from UAT Team.

Test any defect resolutions as needed and experienced with regression testing processes.

Conduct quality assurance testing of solutions and test Major/Patches.

Participate in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases.

Apply higher-level business or technical principles and methods to technical problems to arrive at automated engineering and testing solution(s) when possible.

Design and prepare technical reports, documentation, charts, and graphs to record results.

Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required.

May be required to serve as Task Leader.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science with a concentration in computer science, information systems, information security, math, decision sciences, risk management, engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or other business/technology disciplines.

Possess at least five years of documented proven experience in Software Test Engineering and/or Software Quality Assurance.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, testing and deployment.

Proven testing and implementation experience with ServiceNow modules (e.g., CMDB, ITSM, CSM, SecOps etc.) and testing integration of ServiceNow with other IT applications.

Experience gathering requirements, creating, and maintaining ServiceNow documentation.

Be detail-oriented with a keen focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism through written and verbal communication when presenting products and briefs to senior level management and stakeholders.

Interpret business objectives and incorporate those objectives into testing philosophy.

Optional experience with ServiceNow SPM

Experience working in a ServiceNow SAFe Agile Instance

Public Trust 6C Government Security Clearance

Ability to be successful while working independently or as part of a team and will be able to adapt quickly to shifts in priorities and/objectives.

Passionate about learning and applying their technical skills and experiences to solve real-world problems.

Possess strong listening, verbal, & written communication skills.
