MACRO Industries, a leading Aerospace and DOD supplier of composite solutions, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to add to the Huntsville, Alabama team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with internal teams to ensure efficient operations and cost savings. This role is critical in maintaining smooth workflows, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting the Huntsville team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process purchase orders for consumables and inventoried items.
  • Collaborate with management and production to optimize materials and reduce costs.
  • Use data analysis tools to support decision-making and project planning.
  • Forecast demand and supply needs to ensure optimal inventory levels, fluctuating lead times, and maintaining Material Replenishment Plans.
  • Process back-orders, investigating to prevent future incidents, and implement a recovery plan.
  • Create shipping documents for outgoing products.
  • Arrange inbound and outbound shipping needs and expedite when necessary.
  • Work with vendors and accounting to resolve accounts payable issues and receiving discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly reports on supply chain metrics, trends and issues.
  • Communicate and coordinate business requirements to customers and suppliers (i.e. needs, deadlines, schedule impact, available alternatives: including internal and external customers/suppliers
  • Participate in team meetings, interact with Program Management offering support, detail tracking, and update program portal requirements as needed.
  • Work with the sales team and prepare department specific quotes.
  • Complete customer contract review forms and track company required approvals ensuring appropriate contract flow-downs are identified and passed on.
  • Support the plant with all administrative duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Information
  • This position may require up to 20% travel.

Qualifications:

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Experience and Knowledge
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain analysis or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in supply chain software a plus.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, analyze data and present findings.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and across multiple departments.
  • Must be customer service oriented.

This position is incentive eligible and will participate in an ESOP plan, in addition to the competitive base salary.
