Staff Accountant

Location: Miami Gardens, Florida

Job Description:

Hey there Are you someone who loves working with numbers and enjoys keeping things organized? We're on the lookout for a fantastic Staff Accountant to join our team in sunny Miami Gardens, Florida

What You'll Do:

  1. Financial Records: You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our company. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and keeping track of expenses.

  2. Budget Tracking: You'll help monitor and manage our budgets, making sure we stay on track financially and providing regular updates to management.

  3. Month-End Close: At the end of each month, you'll assist in the closing process by preparing financial statements and reports.

  4. Tax Preparation: You'll support our tax filing process by gathering necessary documents and working with our tax advisors to ensure compliance.

  5. Team Collaboration: You'll work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure smooth operations and support each other as needed.

What You Need:

  • Strong Numerical Skills: You should be comfortable working with numbers and have a keen eye for detail.

  • Analytical Thinking: Being able to analyze financial data and identify trends or anomalies is important in this role.

  • Organization: You'll be managing multiple tasks and deadlines, so being organized and able to prioritize is key.

  • Communication Skills: You'll need to communicate effectively with colleagues and external parties, so good written and verbal communication skills are a plus.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required for this role.

  • Experience: While not always necessary, previous experience in accounting or a related field can be beneficial.
