Process and promote Credit Union loan products to members. Increase efficiency and bring consistency in measuring risk and improving loan turnaround time for the members. Provide accurate and quality service to members. Provide information on Credit Union Services. Provide assistance to other departments as needed. Review the income to debt ratios, analyze credit reports, as outlined in policies and procedures. Review loan applications and make recommendations of approval or denial to loan officer. Evaluate member-borrowing requests, identify needs, and recommend appropriate loan products/counteroffers. Establish and maintain effective member relations. Promote credit union products and services by identifying member’s needs and selling benefits. Ensure loans are processed within credit union policies. Ensure loans are processed in compliance with regulatory laws. Ensure loan protection and warranty products are promoted. Examine auto insurance; must be current and filed. Schedule loan closings and prepare loan documents for approved loans. Perform loan closings with members on approved loans in the office, through the mail and via internet. Secure and perfect liens on titles for proper recordation to protect the interest of the credit union. Examine and file titles for proper recordation information. Complete assigned reporting in a timely manner. Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers and check cashing. Safeguard sensitive/confidential member information in accordance with the credit union policies. Participate in special promotions. Participate in ongoing education as directed by the Operations Manager. Education & Experience Associates Degree or two years equivalent experience in a financial institution. Requirements Abilities: Employee must have ability to be a self-starter and display a high degree of honesty, loyalty and integrity. Demonstrate ability to provide courteous, professional service and establish member relations. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to use a personal computer.
