This position is a remote position on a day-to-day basis with monthly meetups in Denver. Upon being hired training is conducted all in-person in Denver as well. All applicants who aren't located in or near Denver will not be considered.

Responsibilities

•Represent and negotiate tax debt settlements with the IRS/State on behalf of their clients
•Advise the client on tax planning steps they can take to ensure they fulfill all tax obligations and continue to pay the minimum amount of taxes in the future
•Serve as a liaison between tax authorities and the client, submitting the final tax forms on their behalf
•Tell clients about the tax process and what the deadlines are to make sure everything gets turned in on time
•Review each tax form to make sure everything is accurate and ensure tax compliance
•Go over the client's financial records including income statements and previous tax returns to calculate the amount of taxable income they have

Qualifications

•Enrolled Agent, Attorney, CPA
•At least 1 year of tax resolution experience
•Self-starter for problem-solving
•This is a hybrid position on a day-to-day basis with monthly face-to-face team meetups
•Experience handling both basic and advanced levels of tax service, and has in-depth knowledge of the tax code, state tax laws, and federal tax laws
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
