**Job Summary:** Yami is seeking an experienced Transportation Analyst to join the Operations Team. This person will help grow and manage the company's portfolio of carrier partners, analyze the delivery performance across Yami's transportation network, and identify improvement opportunities. Typical functions include but aren't limited to building vendor relationships, addressing transportation network design, and developing innovative ideas that drive improvements in our transportation processes. The Transportation Analyst will be tenacious in pursuing business objectives with an outstanding proven foundation in data analysis.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Create pricing models and develop the right pricing strategy to drive efficiency in the company's transportation operation

* Extract and report data from databases via Excel, SQL, and other data management systems to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

* Implement new processes and methodologies across the organization

* Track and report on key compliance metrics across the company's transportation network

* Manage carriers performance (e.g. on-time delivery) by tracking existing metrics; controlling over delivery processes, and resolving and preventing potential problems

* Communicate with external customers (e.g. carriers, vendors, suppliers) and internal customers (e.g. finance, software support, fulfillment centers) in order to drive continuous improvement initiatives with carriers, testing sites, customer service, and retail teams resulting in improved customer experience, costs, and processes

* Maintain and update internal documentation for training and reference

* Manage shipping and packaging materials consistent with operations requirement

* Participate in team projects as needed

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, or other related field

* Understanding of Transportation and Logistics Network Design

* Proven experience of managing and negotiating with third party logistics providers

* Experience applying transportation concepts: pricing strategy and analytics, forecasting, freight forwarding, planning, and optimization is a plus

* Demonstrates highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic

* Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful; thoroughly thinks through problems and uses data to inform recommendations and solutions

* Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing industry conditions

* Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed

* Strong team player who takes ownership and focuses on delivering results with high standards

* Strong organizational skills; tracking multiple projects' status and deliverables

* Office has fully re-opened; this position requires to be on-site Monday through Friday
