**Job Summary:**

We are seeking Laborer/Class A drivers to join our team. Must have a valid Class A drivers license and willing to work on a construction crew. The Laborer/Class A driver will be responsible for transporting heavy machinery and materials needed at various job sites throughout the area and must be willing to work on a crew assisting in construction activities. **NOTE:** This position is NOT solely a Class A driving position. Physical labor and or operating heavy equipment is a requirement of this position.

**Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):**

* Travels to and from job sites

* Loads and unloads materials on truck

* Performs all phases of general and underground construction include but are not limited to: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment

* Restores and repairs all disturbed property

* Operates and/or works around heavy equipment and machinery such as, Backhoe, Jack Hammer, Jumping Jack, Hole Hog, Roto Hammer, Cut-Off Saw, Portable Water Pump, Saws-All, pedestals, cables, plastic conduit, shovel, rake, sledgehammer, pipe wrench, wire cutters, bolt cutters, cable cutters, drilling shafts, etc.

* Maintains safe working habits/conditions at all times

* Performs other duties as assigned

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Valid Class A driver's license

* Experience in telecommunications or underground utilities industry is a plus.

**Desired Skills & Qualifications:**

* Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions

* Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 40 to 90 pounds

* Must be able to maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement

* Must be able to operate or workaround heavy equipment and machinery

* Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time

* Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl while performing work

* Must be able to ascend and descend ladders

* Must be able to work in small/confined areas

* Must be able to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, hardhat, and any applicable safety gear
