Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino, owned and operated by the Spokane Tribe of Indians, is expanding, and searching for a Director of Finance to lead our finance, accounting, cage, count, revenue, and compliance operations during this exciting period of growth. With the imminent opening of our new hotel, this is a prime opportunity for a seasoned casino finance leader to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Position Summary: Responsible for all financial and accounting functions at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino. Your role will involve strategic planning, team management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while optimizing revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance and accounting team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Establish departmental standards and guidelines to drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance and develop strategies for growth and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate financial results and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's Degree or CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Seven years of progressive leadership experience in casino accounting/finance, with at least two years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proficiency in gaming industry software and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Implement and maintain effective systems for regulatory compliance and reporting.
